BACKCharleston Office Art Walk

We decided to think outside the box and hold our own Art Walk with renderings of our projects displayed gallery-style throughout our new office. The response was overwhelming and we hosted well over 250 people who came through our doors. Featuring prominently were our watercolour renderings of our "Vision of Marion Square." The Vision is a conceptual road-map for the future of Marion Square in the heart of Charleston conceived in conjunction with The Committee to Save the City and the Mazyck-Wraggborough Garden District... The Charleston Art Walk is held seasonally the first Friday in March, May, October and December. The French Quarter is located within the original walled city of Charleston between S. Market and Tradd, and Meeting and the waterfront past E. Bay.
Our office worked quite well as a gallery setting for the Art Walk. Christopher Liberatos, a Charlestonian who worked with the firm in New York City and moved back to head our Charleston office notes that the Art Walk is a great endeavor for visitors to view our current and past work. Jenny Bevan, another firm member in our Charleston office, finds the evening full of interested people who understand traditional architecture practices are integral to keeping Charleston relevant.
Christopher Liberatos restored a wonderful entry on East Bay. Shown to the left are the before and after images. A small project but enormous results!
